My baby is 7 months old?

Okay so I really am bad at this blogging thing so I promise I will try to get better at it! lol! Keyword being try!

Anyways, so where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital getting ready to have my beautiful, little boy! And now he is 7 months old! Steve and I were talking the other day about how he wishes that he would get a little older so that he can rough house with him. Not me, I want my kids to stay babies forever! That is one reason I know I am not done having kids. I am not okay with thinking that this is the last time I go through the baby stage. It is funny though how with each child you appreciate the little things more and take advantage of every moment you have with them. I also consider Jace as my angel baby in a way because it took such a long time to become pregnant with him that at one point I thought I wouldn't be able to have any more kids. So when he was born I was completely smitten with him and I still am. He has the most beautiful, big, blue eyes and a smile that lights up everyones face! There is very rarely a time you can't get him to smile. I sure do love him!

Seattle Trip

Well, me made the drive to Seattle and back and all in one piece! Our vacation was much needed! We had such a great time and the kids did awesome on the long drive. It was really nice catching up with my sister, Kelli and her family. Their kids are growing up so fast! My oldest niece just turned 14! I cannot believe it!
We did some fun things while there. That Saturday we were able to go to a Yankees and Mariners baseballs game. Me and Steve are not much of sport fans, but the game was a lot of fun and we have decided that sports aren't so bad and we were able to really get involved in the game. ( Thanks for the tickets mom and Farrell!)
On Sunday we went to church and after wards went and picked wild blackberries. That is the nice thing about Washington, you can pick all kinds of fresh berries and take them home to make yummy treats! We made blackberry crunch! Mmmm!
Monday we decided to go to Snoqualmie Falls. Wow, they are beautiful! We were able to go right up to it and took some amazing pictures. I had also heard that the zoo there was lots of fun, so we decided to venture there next. The gorillas were my favorite! The baby gorilla was hilarious! It is crazy how human-like they are. There was so much to see that we even ran out of time and were not able to see everything. Maybe next time!
Wednesday was our last day there and we took a small boat out on the lake by my sisters house with tubes trailing behind. I think this was Steve's favorite part. He was glad that there was actually some semi, warm water to play in. We were definitely sad to leave Thursday morning and hope that we can go again next year for our family reunion. Washington is beautiful and I sure miss my sister and her cute, little family!

Summer

Wow! Where has summer gone? I am not ready for winter, that is for sure! It feels like summer just began and here it is 3 weeks away from school beginning for Kennedy. I cannot believe my little girl is going to be in Kindergarten! Where does the time go? It is funny how excited little kids get when school begins. If they only knew, right? Even though the end of summer is in sight, we are actually getting in a (better late then never) summer vacation! Yeah! We are so excited! We have decided to go and see my sister and her family in Seattle. Her family has not seen Jace yet, so we are pretty excited to introduce him to his Uncle Byron and his cousins. We decided to drive since it is cheaper, but we are a little nervous to see how well the kids endure. ( Jace hates his car seat!) I am sure that we will also have to endure the, "Are we there yet?" from Kennedy, but it will be a fun adventure! We plan to leave very early Friday morning so the kids will sleep at least half the way. Wish us luck!

New to Blogging

Well.... here it goes! I am officially a blogger! My life isn't quite as interesting as some, but I always like to keep family and friends updated on what is going on in our lives. I always have cute pics and videos of the kids if nothing else! :) So stay tuned to find out more of what is happening in the Boggs' life.
